We’re David and Kaitlyn with Chi Alpha Campus Ministries, and we’re excited to share our mission with you. Our focus is on building authentic, relational discipleship with college students. We’re dedicated to connecting with students through the gospel in a meaningful way, helping them understand and embrace their faith. We believe that real, personal relationships are key to effective discipleship. That’s why we invest time in getting to know students, discussing their spiritual journeys, and guiding them in their walk with Christ. Our aim is not only to share the gospel but to equip students to become disciple-makers themselves. By creating a supportive and relational environment, we encourage students to grow in their faith and actively share it with others. This approach strengthens their spiritual lives and empowers them to make a positive impact on their peers and communities. Every interaction is an opportunity for us to mentor and inspire, helping students live out their faith and make a meaningful difference in the world.

We are excited to announce our mission to Illinois State University, where we aim to make a transformative impact not just on individual students, but on the entire campus community. With 23,000 students and less than 400 currently reached with the gospel, there’s a significant opportunity for change. Our goal is to engage every student and professor with the message of Christ, creating an environment where the gospel is shared widely and deeply. We believe that by fostering genuine relationships and creating spaces for meaningful conversations, we can inspire students and faculty to embrace their faith and become active disciple-makers. Our approach will involve personal outreach, organizing campus events, and building supportive communities where spiritual growth is encouraged. We envision a university where the message of hope and transformation permeates every corner, influencing not just the students but also the faculty and staff. By partnering with local churches and student groups, we aim to ignite a movement that will not only change lives but also reshape the culture of the university. Our mission is to see Illinois State University transformed into a place where the gospel is experienced and lived out by all.
